Information and purposes
We process your uploaded file and filename, its text and structure, selected language, word count, translation output and task-access information to quote, deliver and recover your order. Providing the requested service is the contractual basis for this processing.
We also process order identifiers, price, payment status and payment-event identifiers to verify payment and handle support, refunds and disputes. Accounting obligations may require transaction records to be kept. Security controls, retry counters and technical error records help prevent misuse and repeated processing; protecting the service is our legitimate interest. If you email us, we process your message and contact details to answer your request.
NovelPart does not receive your full card number from checkout. Whop collects checkout and payment information directly. Do not include unnecessary personal data in a novel file or support message.
Service providers
Cloudflare serves the site and receives request information such as IP address and technical headers. Supabase stores files and order data and runs processing. Relevant novel text is sent to OpenAI for AI translation. Whop processes checkout and payment information, including order and attempt identifiers. Support email is handled through Cloudflare Email Routing and Gmail.
These providers can process information in different countries. Their privacy and data-processing terms explain their processing locations and transfer arrangements. Contact us for information about the arrangements applicable to your order. This notice does not promise that provider logs or backups are erased on our application’s schedule.
Storage and deletion
Completed results can be downloaded for 7 days from completion. Uploaded files, results and stored novel text are scheduled for deletion after 7 days from completion or final failure. Cleanup runs hourly and can be delayed by a technical problem; download access still expires at the 7-day deadline.
An unpaid or unresolved order has not reached completion or final failure, so that deletion countdown has not started. Its uploaded file can remain while payment is unresolved, including a late checkout payment. Contact us to request cancellation and deletion if you abandon an order.
Order, payment and processing-history records without the novel text can remain after file deletion to handle accounting, disputes, security and the prevention of repeated processing. Their retention depends on those purposes and applicable legal obligations. Support messages are kept as needed to resolve your request and related disputes.
Your browser and your choices
NovelPart stores private task-access information in your browser’s session storage to recover an order in the same tab. A recovery link can contain the task secret in its fragment. These are necessary for the account-free workflow. You can clear browser storage, but may lose access unless you saved the private link. Payment and hosting providers have their own storage practices.
Where applicable, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. We may need proportionate information to verify your request. Some records may need to remain for legal obligations. You can raise a concern with the Irish Data Protection Commission or your local data protection authority.
